These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of www.studioferralasco.com, together with any products, downloads, content or services made available by Studio Ferralasco through this website or through authorized third-party distribution platforms.
 
By accessing this website, purchasing a product, downloading a typeface or using any Studio Ferralasco asset, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Licensing terms.
 
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access, purchase, download or use Studio Ferralasco products.
 
1. About Studio Ferralasco
Studio Ferralasco is an independent creative practice based in Vancouver, Canada, offering creative work and digital products including mockup assets and experimental typefaces.
Mockup products may be purchased directly through the Studio Ferralasco website.
Experimental typefaces may be distributed as free downloadable font files through Stan Store or another authorized Studio Ferralasco distribution platform.
 
2. Intellectual Property
All content made available by Studio Ferralasco, including but not limited to its name, identity, website design, images, text, graphics, motion work, mockups, typefaces, font files, product previews and downloadable assets, is owned by Studio Ferralasco or used with permission.
All such content is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, modify, publish, upload, sublicense or otherwise exploit any Studio Ferralasco content or product except as expressly permitted by the applicable license or with prior written permission from Studio Ferralasco.
 
3. Products and Downloads
Studio Ferralasco currently provides two types of digital products:
Mockups
Mockups are paid digital products purchased through the Studio Ferralasco website. Their permitted use is governed by the Universal License for Mockups available on the Licensing page.
Typefaces
Typefaces are downloadable font files that may be distributed for free through Stan Store or other authorized Studio Ferralasco channels. Their permitted use is governed by the Typeface License available on the Licensing page.
Typeface downloads are free for personal and non-commercial portfolio use only. Commercial use requires a separate written license from Studio Ferralasco before use.
 
4. Purchases and Payment
Payments for paid mockup products are processed through third-party payment providers. Studio Ferralasco does not store your complete payment-card information.
Prices for paid products are shown at the time of purchase and may be changed at any time before purchase.
Due to the digital nature of downloadable products, paid digital-product purchases are final once the product has been accessed or downloaded, except where a refund, cancellation or other remedy is required under applicable law.
You are responsible for reviewing the product description and applicable license before completing a purchase.
 
5. Third-Party Platforms
Studio Ferralasco may use third-party platforms, including Stan Store, to distribute typeface files, process downloads, collect contact information or provide links to products.
Your use of a third-party platform may also be subject to that platform’s own terms, privacy policies and technical requirements.
 
Studio Ferralasco is not responsible for the operation, availability, security, policies or practices of third-party platforms that it does not control.
 
The Studio Ferralasco license applicable to a downloaded product remains in effect regardless of the platform through which the product is delivered.
 
6. Licensing
All use of Studio Ferralasco products is subject to the Licensing page.
Mockups are governed by the Universal License for Mockups.
Typefaces are governed by the Typeface License for Free Downloads.
Downloading, installing, purchasing or using a Studio Ferralasco product does not transfer ownership of that product. It grants only the usage rights expressly stated in the applicable license.
Any commercial use of a Studio Ferralasco typeface requires a separate written license from Studio Ferralasco.
 
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:

• Use the website or any product for unlawful purposes.

• Attempt to interfere with the operation, security or functionality of the website.

• Misrepresent your rights to any Studio Ferralasco product.

• Share, redistribute, sell or make available any source product files in violation of the applicable license.

• Use Studio Ferralasco products in a manner that infringes the rights of Studio Ferralasco or any third party.

• Use Studio Ferralasco products in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship or partnership.

A violation of these Terms or the applicable license may result in termination of your license and any other remedies available under applicable law.
 
8. Availability and Changes
Studio Ferralasco may update, modify, remove or discontinue any product, download, page, service or feature at any time.
Studio Ferralasco may also update these Terms of Use or the Licensing page from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of your purchase or download will apply to that product, unless changes are required by law or separately agreed in writing.
 
9. Disclaimers
The website and all digital products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Studio Ferralasco does not guarantee that the website or any third-party download platform will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
You are responsible for ensuring that any downloaded asset or font file is suitable and compatible with your intended software, system and use before relying on it in a project.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
 
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Studio Ferralasco will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or any digital product.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Studio Ferralasco’s total liability in relation to a paid product will be limited to the amount paid for that product, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
 
11. Privacy
Any personal information collected through the Studio Ferralasco website is handled in accordance with the Studio Ferralasco Privacy Policy.
Information submitted through third-party services, including Stan Store, may also be processed in accordance with the privacy terms of those services.
 
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any applicable product licenses are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or Studio Ferralasco products will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
